Brouillette Manor employs approximately 90 full and part time staff. Staffing is consistent through each area of the home. There are Registered Nurses on duty 24 hours a day and Registered Practical Nurses on duty 16 hours a day. Furthermore, our physician is on-call 24/7. PSW hours vary throughout the day based on the needs of our residents.
Our Medical Director/House Physician is Dr. Penava who looks after all residents in the Home. Residents do have the option of having a different physician however they must sign a contract with the home.
Our staff undergo extensive training upon hire and routinely throughout the year. Our staff are trained in Learning Essentials Approach to Palliative and End of Life Care (LEAP) and we take pride in providing quality end of life care. Our staff are aware of adhere to the “Residents Bill of Rights” at all times and many of our staff have over 20 years of experience in long-term care.
We pride ourselves on being the Home of choice and helping people live a better life with assistance, comfort and compassion. Nursing Care staff work in collaboration with our community partners including our Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner and Pharmacy Services.
